The Rental Man was created in 1992 by our principal Ian Morrison.

Dedicated to serving both the investor owners and decent-minded tenants, his service has grown over the years, to be one of Caboolture’s top quality rental agencies.

It was very early on in its start-up years that Ian initiated a full analysis of the systems and procedures required to provide a competent and efficient method of Property Management. Under quality assurance AS/ISO 9002 systems, he developed The Rental Man ‘Quality Procedures’ and ‘Quality Policy’ Manuals.

“We did that back in 1994” Ian reports “and with regular reviews and updates as regulation and market changes have come into effect, it stands us in a good position to continue in providing excellent service to this very day”.

‘The Rental Man’ service has a reputation for a very hands-on, no nonsense approach in all its dealings. They provide regular photographic reports of all rental properties, have access to a complete list of reasonably priced tradesman, and a constant overview of tenancies to ensure standards are being met. “I see our service as the conduit between landlord and tenant” Ian advises, “solving the tyranny of distance, so that with good service, and communications, all customers can be satisfied with their investment housing needs”

‘The Rental Man’ DOES NOT CHARGE for:

  • Inspections
  • Advertising
  • Mediations
  • Annual reporting
  • Water meter readings
  • And a variety of other fees that other agencies seek.

“We have some very interesting, but simple methods that make it possible to work for our basic management and letting fees only” Ian says. “I see our role as including these services as part of our day to day responsibilities, and see no need to charge clients for them. We are in the business of collecting client’s money, not spending it.”

Also, in tenant selection and overview ‘The Rental Man’ has some stand alone procedures that ensure a quality standard is created and maintained. “I am not going to go into them here, but I always enjoy telling new clients just how we go about this”.
